The short version
The xCoin protocol is permissionless and pseudonymous. On-chain activity is public by design. Distributed Ledger Technologies, the company, does not operate the chain — we publish software and run this website. Most of what you do with xCoin, we never see.
This page covers personal information you share with us directly — through this site, our software, and support.
What we collect
- Site analytics. Google Analytics 4, in Consent Mode: analytics storage stays off until you press Accept on the cookie banner, and IP addresses are anonymized. We see aggregate page views, referrer, country-level region, and device class. We do not use advertising features or cross-site tracking pixels.
- Forms you fill out. If you email us or submit the contact or newsletter form, we keep what you sent so we can reply. Form submissions are relayed by FormSubmit to our mailbox.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe, we keep your email until you unsubscribe.
- Server logs. This site is served by Cloudflare, which keeps short-lived request logs for security and abuse prevention.
What we do not collect
- We do not store your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passphrases. Ever.
- We do not sell, rent, or share personal data with advertisers.
- We do not link your wallet address to your name unless you tell us to.
How we use what we collect
We use it to operate this site, ship the software, answer support, and meet legal obligations. That's it. We do not profile you for advertising and we do not buy data about you.
Where data lives
Site traffic is served from Cloudflare's network. Email correspondence is hosted with a major US-based provider. Analytics data, when you have consented to it, is processed by Google.
Your rights
- Ask us what we have on you.
- Ask us to delete it (subject to legal retention rules).
- Ask us to correct it.
- Withdraw consent for any communications, or for analytics, at any time.

Children
This service is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If we change this policy in any way that matters, we'll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Material changes will be announced through our normal channels at least 30 days in advance.
