Terms of Service

The rules of using xcoinproject.com, our published software, and any program we run.

Effective: 1 May 2026 · Revised: 4 September 2026 · Operator: Distributed Ledger Technologies, Inc.

Who we are

"xCoin," "we," and "us" mean Distributed Ledger Technologies, Inc., a Wyoming corporation. We develop protocol and wallet software, operate this website, and run programs in selected markets.

"You" means anyone using this site, our software, or any service we operate.

What we are not

We are not a bank, a money transmitter outside the jurisdictions where we are licensed, an investment advisor, or a custodian of your funds. XID held in your own wallet is yours. We cannot freeze it, recall it, or unilaterally redeem it.

Nothing on this site is investment advice. Nothing here is a solicitation to buy, sell, or hold any asset.

The network versus our software

The xCoin network is permissionless: anyone may run a node, mine, and transact, and no one, including us, holds privileged consensus power. Our terms apply to our services — this site, our wallet, our published binaries, and any program we operate — not to the network itself. The software we publish is licensed as described under Software licenses below. Reverse engineering, decompilation, or unauthorized redistribution of our proprietary software is prohibited.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use our services to:

  • Violate sanctions, AML, or other applicable law in your jurisdiction or ours.
  • Defraud, impersonate, or harass other users.
  • Interfere with the operation of the network or our infrastructure.
  • Bypass jurisdictional restrictions we are required to enforce.

Risk

Distributed ledger technology is experimental. XID is a proof-of-work asset with no issuer, no reserve, and no redemption right; its price can fall to zero, and protocol bugs are possible. Do not commit funds you cannot afford to lose. Consensus rules are described in the whitepaper and enforced by the software; rights you have under those rules are described there, not in marketing copy.

Software licenses

All software developed by Distributed Ledger Technologies, Inc. — including the wallet, miner, and supporting infrastructure — is proprietary. All rights reserved, except where a component is published under an explicit open-source license in its own repository, in which case that license governs that component. No license to copy, modify, distribute, sublicense, decompile, or create derivative works is granted by use of this site, the wallet, or participation in the network beyond what the applicable license states. The xCoin name and marks are not licensed for redistribution; contact [email protected] for media use.

No warranty

Our services and software are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Distributed Ledger Technologies, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to USD $100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally are subject to binding arbitration in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Changes

If we change these terms in a material way, we'll post the new version here, update the date, and announce the change at least 30 days in advance.
